Whenever we do manage to get into town (this time for a visit to The Clink prison museum) we usually end up going up and down the river on one of the boat taxi’s. Rian loves a boat trip on the Thames- he would probably sit on it all day if we let him. And seeing as you can buy coffee and snacks, then why not? As it was we just did a quick up and down, from Borough Market to Westminster and then back down to The Tower. It’s a great thing to do on a chilly day in the capital, it warmed us right up!
The boys were entertained looking out of the window and I was entertained taking some pictures of them being entertained – the winter light was just gorgeous and I managed to get some lovely shots of Rian with my Sony A5000 – nice enough I feel to finally join in with #pointshoot! I was so engrossed in taking pictures of Rian I entirely neglected to take any of the scenery – but spot The Shard sneaking in the background!
