New Year, New Look, New Beginning

Hello 2017, it’s nice to meet you. You’d better be more fun than 2016, and if I hear that you’ve been bothering David Attenborough there will be words, ok?

Well, now the pleasantries are done with – what are my plans for 2017?

If you are you a regular reader of my little patch of internet then you may have noticed I am somewhat haphazard. I don’t post regularly, I don’t have a niche, I blather. So with that in mind I’ve decided to make some resolutions.

  1. I’m going to keep blathering – it’s my blog after all, and I can muse if I want to.
  2. I want to focus more on food and lifestyle. Parenting is only a facet of who I am, and I have other loves I’d like to write about. So I shall.
  3. I want to post regularly – expect to see 2 minimum posts a week, with things on set days. So, at least one recipe, potentially two if I decide to do a sweet and savoury every week, plus one lifestyle or musing post. Monday for Musing, and maybe Thursday or Friday for recipes…

With this in mind, you might have noticed my strap line has changed from Musings, Mothering, Mayhem to Musings, Munchings and Mayhem. It’s pretty straight forward – if you like my witterings, click on Musings, for recipes it’s Munchings and I’ll be sticking all my lifestyle, reviews and what not under Mayhem – because it does feel a bit like that sometimes!

I’d also like to start up a newsletter – so please sign up for an inbox special or two!

  1. Yeeeaah! I so agree with you – I feel like I haven’t written about parenting in AGES! Sure I’m a mum, but I’m also a lot more (including chocolate and cake eating extraordinaire)

  2. Love the makeover and the plan. I wish I had a plan but I don’t. Your recipes always look delicious so ut will be nice to see more of them. Look forward to reading about all the nayhem as well xxx
