Another great reason to finally start this blog is to start recording the hilarious things that come out of the boys mouth.
This morning on the way to nursery RJ asked me why it was windy. As I was racking my brains trying to remember if I’d learnt about that in GCSE Science, he piped up with his own explanation:
“I think it’s windy because the sun got too hot so it made it windy to cool down”
I think that’s a way better explanation than mine was about to be – “Erm, I think it’s got something to do with pressure in the atmosphere but I can look it up”
It made me think, maybe I should stop trying to explain things properly to him straight away, but let him try and think up answers himself. It will be good for his imagination, and will most likely make me giggle, and we can always look up the answer together later.
