My guilty pleasure…is probably alone time.
I never used to like being alone-alone. If I wanted to read my book, I wouldn’t stay up in my room, I’d curl up on the sofa while my family watched telly (used to drive my Mum mad) I’d always be the quiet one in social situations – I like them, but they overwhelm me somewhat.
Now I live in a house with noisy boys, and currently my sister and her partner as well while they get a new place sorted. It’s all a bit much.
So my guilty pleasure is being by myself, with nothing to do except what I fancy. I never get bored on my own these days! I’m currently in the house on my own, and am likely to be for the rest of the afternoon. I’m going to ignore the cleaning, keep my feet up, do some blogmin, read my book and watch the Good Wife on Netflix.
Though I don’t feel guilty at all (except about the cleaning).
Oh I love the Good Wife, one of my fave guilty pleasures. I just wish that I could be a little like Alicia too with all the power dressing. Wouldn’t quite work with the school run though! 🙂
Oh I love a bit of me time too. It is so rare with busy boys and an even busier hubby (I’m she he has ADHD and that’s not a joke). I haven’t seen the Good wife I’ll have to try it out.
I so agree with you on Alone time! I never used to like being on my own until I had children. When I was younger I even used to go to a busy cafe to study because I couldn’t concentrate if it was too quiet. Now all I want is to be able to have alone and quiet time (never happens).
