Easy Peasy Really Cheesy Macaroni
Mac n’ Cheese is approximately 4563,7656 times better if you make it from scratch. If you are planning on eating it yourself, add lots of seasoning and various extras like chorizo, leeks, ham, bacon…the list is endless. The measurements are really rough – play with them!

  1. Measure the macaroni by half filling the pot you plan to cook it in. Put on a pot of water, and then cook macaroni and drain (this can be happening in the background while you make the sauce)
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan on a medium heat, then mix in the flour til it’s smooth. Add the milk gradually, stirring quickly, until you have enough volume. Keep cooking it, it will thicken up nicely. Stir constantly and don’t let it boil.
  3. While you do the burny stuff, get a minion to carefully grate some cheese.
  4. Take the sauce off the heat, and mix through the cheese and any other ingredient you fancy (cook it first mind) Minions may like to aid you in mixing the macaroni with the cheese sauce.
  5. Sprinkle some extra cheese on top (seriously, more cheese. No, more.) and whack it under a hot grill until golden and bubbling. Then scoff!
