Oh my Unique Planner, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways!
Firstly, I won’t fib – the website is a small faff. I found it a bit tricky what with all the dragging and dropping and trying to choose a front cover and add text and what not, BUT, that might just be my ineptitude and the finished product is more than worth the swears at the computer.
I ordered my planner on a Thursday and it arrived on Saturday morning – delightfully speedy delivery for a personalised product I thought! And it’s so pretty! And useful, which is of course more important than aesthetics. Ahem.
The planner has two bookmarks plus an elastic to keep it closed – I decided to get an A4 size as it lives on my desk, and I chose gold sparkly bookmarks, elastic and wire binding. The two bookmarks are especially handy, as I will explain.
The planner starts out with a year overview:
And then you get a lovely spread for every week:
Plenty of room for to-do lists, blog post ideas – you can’t see it in this pic, but there’s also a little box at the bottom for “weekly goals” which is nice, because as they say, a goal written down is a goal more likely achieved.
The thing I like the best about this planner though is the choice of extras you get! I chose to have sections for: Lists, Post Planning, Post Ideas, Monthly Statistics, Promotion Codes, Christmas Gift List, Weekly Cleaning Planner (ha!), Expenses, Birthdays, Contacts, Conferences, Holidays, Food Shops, Recipe Ideas and lots more Lists! There are so many to choose from.
If you were a food blogger, you could just choose to have reams and reams of recipe pages, or just lists and lists. You get to choose! This is where the extra bookmark comes in useful – you can stick it on your latest list, or whatever you are working on, and have the other one holding the weekly page. Excellent! The planner also comes with a page of stickers, which you can use to make the monthly tabs you can see in the picture above.
I’ve had mine for two weeks now, and I love it – sitting down on a Monday and brainstorming out the week is brilliant, and it’s so nice to have been able to amalgamate all my notebooks. No more looking at one for events, one for ideas, one for notes – it’s all in one place now, hurrah! I couldn’t also resist a sneaky motivational quote to finish things off 🙂
And, because the people at Pirongs are so super generous and awesome, you could win your very own planner! And even if you aren’t the lucky winner, you can still get 15% off using my discount code MUMZILLA15. Totally worth it – though one thing, you can only start the planner from January or August, so you are better off getting one near those months if you are like me and can’t bear to wait to start using it! Let me know how you get on with yours!
